Antique Oak Estate Cupboard, Georgian (English, circa 1750 to 1770)

A wonderful oak estate office book cupboard of one-off design, from the George II / III period. Lovely small size. Nice warm medium colour and good patina.

Beautiful curves, with broken arched pediment flanked by turned finials. Central section of top has platform which can be used to place a decorative item such as a vase on.

One piece construction, with two sets of panelled cupboard doors. The top set of doors are arched, with arched panels, to mirror the curves of the top.

Interior fitted with adjustable shelves, providing adaptable storage making this a practical and useful piece which could go in many rooms in the home. Hidden secret drawer in the back.
